The Christmas Table

The Christmas Table

Here is the Christmas table. I love to get this little tree out and put on all the old cookie cutters I bought in an antique shop in Georgia. I think of the women who used them and hope their cookies bought joy to many children. Behind the tree you can see my new wallpaper which turned out to be perfect for the dining/kitchen wall and covered up an awful lot of that nasty ole beige. Yes, my friends, you are allowed to like beige but don't expect me to. I'm a gaudy gal! The more gold the better! I love the Art Deco feel to this wallpaper. Thank you too Robbie, for the pretty Xmas bunting you made and sent me for Christmas. I love it!

Christmas

Hello and Merry Xmas to all my lovely  friends on this wonderful Christmas Eve!

I've been busy organising stuff for Xmas as you have too. All the usual stuff - shopping for food, shopping for pressies, having lunch going to Xmas parties etc etc. I haven't had time for the blog at all. I'm having Christmas at Suzi and Ed's place with my little boys and am looking forward to seeing them open their pressies. Christmas ain't Christmas without kids is it? It's a big family Xmas and I have done some placemats for my little boys and their two cousins. The three boys have stars on their placemats and Eloise (the queen of the cousins) has a heart. The colour theme this Xmas at Suzi's is aqua and red. It was fun planning it.Here are the piccys.

Pillowcase photos

Finished European Pillowcases

I finished off the pillowcases with a back opening of five buttons. Each pillowcase has a small pocket on the back to fit a small toy in. Edie Rose's pillowcase has a babushka doll which fits into the back pocket.
